‘It’s a move I’ve longed for’-Atendele Geriga Reacts After Completing Arua Hill SC Move.

As earlier reported by Dribbler Sports, newly promoted Startimes Uganda Premier League entity Arua Hill Sports Club have completed the singing of former Onduparaka FC and Wakiso Giants highly rated full-back Atendele Geriga .

Geriga sealed a move to the FUFA Big League KINGS ahead of their maiden season in the top tier league after proving his worth out at the Purple Sharks last season.

The highly rated defender has signed a two-year employment contract with the Leopards from Wakiso Giants FC and will be linking up with his former mentor Charles Livingston Mbabazi who is currently the head coach of Arua Hill Sports Club

Speaking exclusively to www.aruahillsc.ug, The full-back said it’s a move he has been longing for and feels relaxed, comfortable and ready to concentrate in the pitch so as to help the club actualize their dreams.

Geriga Said “It’s a move I’ve longed for, with it being officialized I feel relaxed and comfortable because now I can get to concentrate in the pitch,”

“We’ve discussed much with the coaches, now we want to work towards actualizing our dream.”

Atendele has been a standard feature for Wakiso Gaints since joining them in 2020 from Onduparaka FC on a three-year deal.

Last season He racked up 22 appearances in 26 games for the Purple Sharks.

The former Masaka SS student affectionately known for his offensive, defensive and aggressive role at the back becomes the third player to join the Kongolo Boys from Wakiso Gaints after Faizul Ibrahim Anini and Gadafi Wahab Thiago.

He turns into membership the 12th major signing for the Leopards after the arrivals of Andama Junior from Calvary, Sharif Yusuf Saaka from Kyetume, Faizal Ibrahim Anini “Terminator” from Wakiso Gaints FC, Ivan Eyam from Mbarara City FC, Samuel Ssekamatte from Bright Stars Fc, Toha Rashid from Vipers SC, Gadafi Wahab from Wakiso Giants FC, Robert Eseru from UPDF FC, Innocent Maduka from Blacks Power and David Ndihabwe.
