Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club beat Ethiopian Coffee 3-1 win in the second leg of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round encounter played at the Bahir Dar International Stadium on Sunday evening.
A first half goal from Abang Cromwel Rwothomio, and second half goals from Ashraf Mandela and captain Shafiq Kuchi Kagimu saw the Tax Collectors completed a double over Ethiopian Coffee.
Asrat Tunjo bagged a consolation goal for the hosts who were beaten 3-1.
The result meant that URA won the two-legged playoff 5-2 on aggregate after winning the first leg 2-1 in St Marys stadium in Uganda last week
Sam Timbe’s side have also advanced to the first round of the CAF Confederation Cup and will play against Egyptian football gaints Al Masry.
Tax Collectors took the lead through Cromwell Rwothomio’s goal just five minutes to the break.
After the break Ashraf Mandela doubled the lead with an absolute beauty for a 2-0.
Moments later Shafiq Kagimu put the game to bed after scoring the third goal of the clash as URA completed the double over Ethiopian Coffee.
Tunjo pulled one back for Ethiopian outfit through a penalty kick just 20 minutes to the stoppage time as URA held on for the remaining minutes to settle for a 3-1 win over Ethiopian Coffee.
