Joseph Akandwanaho: Express FC Confirm Second Signing

Newly crowned Uganda Premier League champions Express FC have bolstered their squad by confirming the arrival of left footed winger Joseph Akandwanaho.

Akandwanaho joins the Red Eagles from Soltilo Bright Stars ahead of the CECAFA Kagame Cup and the coming 2021/2022 Startimes Uganda Premier League.

The 26-year old puts pen to paper on a two-year employment deal which will see him stay at the club untill 2023

Speaking about this Akandwanaho said “IT’S A DREAM COME TRUE, I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO PLAY FOR A CLUB THIS HUGE WITH A RICH HISTORY, I AM GRATEFUL TO EVERYONE WHO MADE THIS HAPPEN BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY I WANT TO REITERATE THAT I AM HERE TO HELP THE CLUB ACHIEVE IT’S DREAM OF WINNING MORE SILVERWARE,”

The pacy left-footed winger who registered eight league goals and six assists for Bright Stars last season, previously featured for Nyamityobora.

He turns into membership the second signing after the arrival of goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa from Kyetume Football Club
