Dribbler Sports can reveal that Uganda People’s Defense Force Football Club (UPDF FC) forward Brian Kayanja “Falcao” has completed his medicals and is ready to begin his new chapter with Kampala City Council Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) ahead of the coming season.
The former Sofapaka and Bright Stars striker has put pen to paper on a three-year employment contract with the Kassasiro Boys and is set to be unveiled in the next few days, according to a source close to the club.
“Kayanja Brian has completed medicals at KCCA with both parties agreeing to a three-year deal and is set to be unveiled very soon,” says the source.
The 26-year old striker turns into membership the third signing for the Kassasiros Boys after the singing of Usama Arafat and Brian Majwega.
The club have already confirmed Morley Byekwaso as their permanent head coach on a three-year deal with the gaffer set to announce his new nine technical team members tonight at exactly 10pm during Sunday’s KCCA TV show at Sanyuka TV.
For starters, Kayanja was the top scorer of 2016/17 Kampala regional tournament with SC Lamancia. He started his career while at Kawanda Secondary School where he won the inter house tournament with Kagera house in 2013.
He later joined Busiro in the Masaza Cup scoring 7 goals in 5 games before joining Bright Stars where he scored 12 goals in all tournaments including Uganda Cup and Startimes Premier league before joining Sofapaka in 2019 scoring 1 goal in 4 games as coronavirus enforced the stoppage of the Kenyan Premier League and had to come back to the country after signing with Uganda Premier League rookies UPDF FC in the just concluded season.
