SUPL WRAP: Kabon Fires Onduparaka Back To Winning Ways, Bright Stars cruise Past Mbarara City

There were wins for Onduparaka FC, Bright Stars while Busoga and Bul share spoils in their respective Startimes Uganda Premier League matchday23 played on Tuesday evening.

Onduparaka FC 1-0 SC Villa (Ababet Green Light).

Onduparaka FC returned to their winning ways as Kabon Living’s strike secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Sports Club Villa at Ababet Green Light Stadium in Arua.

Kabon living scored the only goal of the clash just at the stroke of the addad minutes of first time as Onduparaka held on for a win.

Victory means the Caterpillars temporarily move to the 10th place of the log with 24 points in 23 games and are back in action on Saturday 15 against Mbarara City at Kakyeka Stadium.

Villa meanwhile dropped to the 8th place of the log with 32 points in 23 games and will host Vipers in their next game the same day.

Bright Stars 3-1 Wakiso Giants (Kavuma Recreational Ground)

Elsewhere at Kavuma, Bright Stars FC beat Wakiso Giants 3-1 at Kavuma Recreational ground in the SUPL matchday23.

Samuel Ssekamatte scored a brace while Derrick Ngobi added the third as Baker Mbowa’s side outsmart Mbarara City.

Bashir Mutanda scored a consolation goal for the visitors who dropped in the 12th place of the log with 26 points in 23 games and are back in action on Saturday as they host Onduparaka FC.

Bright stars meanwhile are in the 6th place of the log with 37 points level to KCCA FC and Police who are in the 4th and 5th place respectively and will be back in action on Saturday 15 against BUL FC.
