Dorcus Injikuru’s 92M Bungalow In Arua Faces Demolition Threat

The house of former World Althletics Champions and Uganda’s track and field athlete Dorcus Injikuru aka Inzzi in Arua is facing demolition threat due to poor planning.

In 2007 the government of Uganda through Minister of Defense Ruth Nankabirwa handed over a 92-million shilling house located in Anyafio cell in Arua city to Dorcus Injikuru as a gift for her outstanding performance in the IAAF meeting in Helsinki, Finland in 2005.

However Swift Sports has reported that Inzzi during an interview with NBS has cried to the president of Uganda HE Yoweri Kaguta Museveni to intervene since here Bungalow needs a replan.

“Due to lack of a proper plan, the challenge is that the new City replanned structures have cut the whole plot where the plot is located for the access road.” Inzikuru said.

“I therefore, request the President to intervene personally, if he can give directives to the Town clerk of Arua town council to relocate the road not to pass in the plot plus the land title
