SUPL Wrap: Sadat Anaku Stars As KCCA Thrash UPDF, Express FC Edge Out Busoga To Reclaim Top Spot

There were wins for Kampala City Council Authority Football Club, Uganda Revenue Authority FC and Express FC, while MYDA and Kitara United FC share spoils on Friday evening in the Uganda Premier League matchday12.

KCCA FC moved to the fourth place of the log following a 6-1 thrashing of UPDF FC on Friday evening at MTN Omondi Stadium.

On form teenager Sadat Anaku and Charles Lwanga bagged two goals each while Ashraf Mugume scored for the Kasasiros plus an own goal from Brain Vuni as KCCA humiliate UPDF to close the gap with Police FC.

Meanwhile, Brain Kayanja scored a consolation goal for UPDF who are in the 7th position with 18 points following their 6th defeat of the season.

URA FC 2-0 Kyetume FC. Patrick Mbowa inspires URA FC

Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club subjected Kyetume FC to third straight league defeat with a 2-0 win at the Arena of Visions in Ndejje on Friday evening.

First half goal from Cromwell Rwothomio and Steven Mukwala ensured 3 points for the Tax Collectors who are in the 3rd place of the log with 27 points. While Kyetume FC sit on the 12th place with 11 points in 12 games.

Express FC 1-0 Busoga United. Red Eagle’s unbeaten run continues.

Express FC maintained their unbeaten run to the current campaign as they see off Busoga United FC 1-0 at Wankulukuku on Friday evening.

Frank Kalanda scored the only goal of the clash from a spot-kick aftt Eric Kambale was brought down in the area.

The defeat saw Express FC reclaimed the UPL summit with 28 points while Busoga United are in 14th place with 5 points.

MYDA FC 2-2 Kitara United. MYDA, Kitara share spoils.

Malaba Youth Development Associations Football Club and Kitara United Football Club played to a 2-2 stalemate at King George on Friday.

Zakayo Kizito and Oloro Nathan scored in either half to put the visitors ahead but Nsimbe Ibra pulled one back from the spot kick before Batali Moses leveled matters for the Flying Eagles to settle for a draw.

The stalemate saw MYDA sit on 15th place of the log, while Kitara United are at the bottom of the log with 2 points.
