“Expect A lot More Fans When You Come To Arua City” Aita Tells FMU Boss During The Signing Of MOU with Developmental Infrastructures.

West Nile firm Developmental Infrastructures (DI) on Tuesday signed a Memoradum of Understanding with The Federation Of Motorsports Uganda (FMU) to develop Motorsports in Arua city and Joel Aita says FMU should expect more numbers of fans in West Nile region as compared to other regions in Uganda.

The Motorsports governing body managed to secure a deal in West Nile in an aid to promote and expands the development of Motorsports across the country and Aita is optimistic the deal will succeed.

“Expect a lot more fans when you come to Arua than the 7,200 fans that have been attending the rally events,” Aita said at an event held at Silver Springs Hotel in Bugolobi.

The deal will see DI handover a 15 accre of land located 5km outside Arua City to FMU to develop a world class Motorsports facility that will host Motorsports activities such as Motorcycling, Falling, Karting, Vintage and drifting.

FMU president Dipu Ruparelia said: ” We promised to take the sport to different parts of the country. We had events in Buganda, Busonga and Ankole. Having Arua will help us promote to broaden and promote the sport allover the country,”

Arua City is located 495km, 295.09 mi, 256.43 nmi from Kampala with estimated driving duration of 7 hrs 15 in an average speed of 65Km/hr.

It has a great opportunity for trade and trousim and is well known for supporting Sports with the home people loving Sports especially Football, Netball, Basketball and many other sports activities.
