Kenyan International teenager Telvin Maina Irungu has shown gratefulness to Arua Hill Sports Club after the confirmation of his first pro contract at the Club.
On his 18th birthday, the offensive midfielder signed his first professional contract at Arua Hill Sports Club after joining the junior team from Kisumu All-stars last month.
Telvin Maina Irungu expressed gratitude towards the club for trusting in his ability and potential.
“I’m grateful to turn 18 because I feel now matured enough for the big stage and signing my professional contract at Arua Hill, I feel grateful and so much joy. I can’t wait to unfold the new chapter,” Telvin said as qoutted by the club’s media.
He went on to credit midfielder Gadafi Gadinho and Rashid Kawawa for playing a key role in his development over the few days.
“I learn a lot from Gadafi and Kawawa because they’ve being playing around and in this stage for some time and years, but for me I am just new in the system, I hope to learn more and adopt to the system, and who knows with time I might be the one playing mainly in there.”
“Gadafi and Kawawa are both so much talented and I know we are going to create a beautiful scene.” he added.
The Kenyan teenager has been on the rader of National Super League sides Kangemi All Stars and FC Talanta
He represented the Kenya U-17 national team three times. captaining Ruaraka All-Stars Youth Team to the Mathare Youth Sports Association (MYSA) Championship in Kenya in 2014 where he was selected to represent MYSA in the Norway cup where they won in 2014.
