Onduparaka, Wakiso Share Spoils At Greenlight Stadium.

Onduparaka Football Club and Wakiso Giants Football Club settled for a share of spoils after playing to a 1-1 draw in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League matchday four on Tuesday evening at Greenlight stadium in Arua

Kabong Living Messi opened the score for Onduparaka in the second half, but his goal was cancelled off by Wasswa Dazzo before Kabong living missed a penalty to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Wakiso Giants dominated the first stanza with Wahab Gadafi , Wasswa Dazzo and Viane Sekajugo all threatening the Caterpillars defense.

Viane Sekajugo thought he had scored for the visitors in the 25th minute but was ruled off for an offside.

Kabon Living could have opened the lead for the Caterpillars through a free kick after Matata Gabriel was fouled but Wakiso Giants goalkeeper Emukule stood tall deny Messi for a corner kick in 40 minutes.

The score was 0-0 during the half time break following a lively first half.

Onduparaka FC broke the deadlock through Kabong Living Messi who netted his third goal of the season.

Messi tapped home Matata Gabriel’s cross to make it 1-0 to Onduparaka FC in the 46th minute.

Moments later, the Purple Sharks managed to restore the lead following an error from Caterpillars’ defense.

Wasswa Dazzo headed home to make it 1-1 for the Purple Sharks just 3 minutes from the score .

The hosts were awarded a penalty after goalkeeper Emukule was ruled to have fouled Kabong Living in the box.

Kabong Living then stepped up and was denied by Emukule from the spot-kick in the 73rd minute.

Both teams then fought for late score, but it never came as Onduparaka Football Club and Wakiso Giants Football Club settled for a share of spoils in a 1-1 draw .
