Ogwaang’s Brace Gives Villa First Win OF The Season.

*Kitara FC 1-5 UPDF FC

Sports Club Villa registered their first win of the season after cruising to a 3-0 victory over Mbarara City Football Club in their 2nd UPL match at Bombo Military Barracks Grounds on Wednesday evening.

First half goals from Derrick Ndahiro and Isaac Ogwaang who scored a brace on his home debut hands the Jogooos a 3-0 win to the Ankole Lions

The visitors started on a high with Bashir Mutanda breaking on the wing for corner kick in the 6th minute.

Derrick Ndahiro opened the lead for the Jogooos from the spot in the 10th minute for a 1-0

Isaac Ogwaang then double the lead in 37th minute before completing his own brace on his home debut for Villa for a 3-0 in the interval.

Mbarara City dominated the second half with Bashir Mutanda failing to find the back of the net.

Sports Club Villa could have added the fourth but Ndahiro missed a second penalty in the 70th minute after Pistis Barenge was wrongly judged for handling the ball in the box

The result saw Villa claimed to the third place of the log with four points in two games and will Villa visit URA FC on Saturday at Arena of Visions in Ndejje,q while Mbarara will be targeting their first win when they visit Lugogo KCCA FC.
