Wakiso Giants Coach Bamweyana Confirms Joshua Lubwama Injury Ahead Of Kyetume FC Clash.

Wakiso Giants Football Club coach Douglas Bamweyana has provided a provisional update on the status of his team ahead of Tuesday’ clash against Kyetume Football Club with Joshua Lubwama missing.

Bamweyana will not be with Joshua Lubwama who is yet to recover from the injury sustained during the 0-0 draw against Police FC on Friday.

He will be replaced with Bukenya Lawrence, the head coach has confirmed on Monday evening.

“We pretty much have the same team from the previous game. We probably welcome Bukenya Lawrence on to the team and he comes in to replace the injured Joshua Lubwama,” Bamweyana told the media.

“Generally, we are happy to play out first game at home against a very familiar opponent with whom we have not so bad record but we want do better, win the game and get on the right track as soon as possible.”

The Purple Sharks and the Slaughters have met six times with Wakiso Giants registering one win and Four draws.

Wakiso Giants will entertain Kyetume FC at 4pm on Tuesday 8 December at Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, Wakiso.
