The Venoms have confirmed the return of three keys players as they prepare to host Al Hilal Omdurman of Sudan in the CAF Champions League preliminary first round to be played on Saturday at St Mary’s stadium Kitende.
Vipers Sports Club have provided an injury update ahead of their clash against Al Hilal Omdurman of Sudan.
Striker Muhammad Shaban, Defenders Toha Rashid and Livingston Mulondo are all available for selection after recovering from their respective injuries.
” Rashid Toha, Livingstone Mulondo and Mohammed Shaban, who missed last season’s action due to injuries are all back, will be available for selection and are likely to have a decisive say in the match on Saturday.” reads club statement.
The club’s head coach Fred Kajoba believes his players are in great shape and are ready for the clash that is scheduled to be played at St Mary’s stadium Kitende on Saturday.
” We have been working on quite a lot and we are happy that the team is very positive. The lads are in great shape and beaming with confidence. We are keen to get the best results on Saturday,” Kajoba said.
Former As Vita and Congolese International striker Manzoki Ceaser Lobi has been drafted in the squad and will be handed play time as he makes his debut for the Venoms for the first time since joining the club from As Vita last month.
Kick-off between Vipers Sports Club and Al Hilal Omdurman will be at 16h00 East African time.
