Egyptian Premier League outfit Ittihad of Alexandria have completed the signing of Uganda Cranes international midfielder Khalid Aucho according to media reports in Egypt.
He signs from Faiyum-based outfit Misr El-Makkasa and becomes the club’s first signing ahead of the coming 2020/21 season.
Aucho joined the Egyptian giants in July 2019 as a free agent from India’s Churchill Brothers Football Club on a two-year deal, and scored 2 goals in 21 games across all competitions for Misr El-Makkasa.
The 27-year old midfielder played two AFCON finals for Uganda Cranes in 2017 (Gabon) and lately in 2019 (Egypt). He also represented the Uganda national team on 45 occasions.
Aucho previously played for Jinja Municipal Council (JMC) Hippos, Simba, Water (Uganda), Gor Mahia, Tusker (Kenya), Red Star Belgrade and FC Baroka (South Africa).
At Ittihad he joins fellow fellow Ugandan international Emmanuel Okwi who joined the Alexandria based side last year.
