Uganda National Women U17 coach Ayub Khalifa has tested positive for Corona virus.
This comes amidst the team’s preparations for the FIFA U17 World cup Qualifier with Cameroon.
“I have on Thursday 8th October 2020 tested positive for Covid -19,” Ayub has confirmed.

“I am now in self-isolation from the camp for a period as guided by the health officials for better medication and recovery.
“While I am away, I will help conduct some sessions with my technical team for the players online as we continue with preparations for the FIFA U17 World cup Qualifier with Cameroon.”
The Squad of 30 players is currently in camp at the Cranes Paradise Hotel.
The side will face Cameroon on 31st October in Kampala and two weeks later in Cameroon.
Hadijja Namuyanja (assistant coach) will temporarily take charge. James Magala (goalkeeping coach) and Oliver Mbekeka (trainer) are the other coaches on the team.
