FUFA Big League outfit Maroons Football Club have registered a new goalkeeper, Eric Dhaira from Katwe United Football Club.
He puts pen to paper on a two-year employment contract that will keep him at Luzira Maximum Security Prison until 2022.
Dhaira, who has been showcasing his skills in the FUFA Big League tournament with Katwe United Football Club last season after joining from Maroons is one of the four goalkeepers registered with FBL by Maroons FC this season, with Emmanuel Akol, Amir Nalugoda and Walter Chandia.
Dhaira, a young brother to former Cranes shot stopper Abel Dhaira, previously featured for Wama FC, Soana (now Tooro United), BUL FC, Maroons FC and Katwe United Fc.
He joins other new recruits at Luzira Prison grounds including Nelson Mandela and Derrick Mudaali.
Solomon Walusimbi, Maxwell Okello, Sydney Chika, Isaac Otto, Junior Amanya, Ronald Orombi, Yahya Luti and Emmanuel Olinga are some of the players that have already extended their employment contracts with Maroons Football Club.
