Express Football Club have confirmed the signing of striker Charles Musige from FUFA Big League outfit Tooro United Football Club.
He puts pen to paper on a two-year employment contract with the Red Eagles .
Speaking to the cubs website Musige expressed: ” “I am happy to be a Red Eagle, I feel honoured to have joined this historical football club.” Just like my teammates, the focus is on reclaiming glory and coming in as a forward I hope to score as many goals to help the team.”
Charles Musige becomes the second striker to join the club after Mustafa Kiragga who joined from South African side Alexandria FC.
Last season the former Nyamityobora FC forward scored five goals and six assists in 20 games for the Fort Portal based Tooro United Football Club.
He becomes the 10th Signings for the Red Eagles after the arrival of goalkeepers Cryspus Kusiima and Denis Otim, centre back Richard Bbosa, midfielders Mahad “Yaya” Kakooza, Abel Eturude, Baker Sakah, Godfrey Lwesibawa, Forward Mustafa Kiragga and midfielder Isaac Nsengiyunva
