Breaking: Shaun Bartlett leaves Kaizer Chiefs

Absa Premiership giants Kaizer Chiefs have parted ways with assistant coach Shaun Bartlett, which follows 24 hours after coach Ernst Middendorp left the club.

Bartlett joined Chiefs as Middendorp‘s assistant in December 2018, before the disastrous loss of the 2019/20 league title to Mamelodi Sundowns on the final day of the season.

“Kaizer Chiefs Chairman Kaizer Motaung, the Board of Directors and the club’s management would like to further announce that they have agreed to an early termination of assistant coach Shaun Bartlett’s contract,” Chiefs posted on social media on Thursday morning.
