The Ugandan striker is a free agent after his contract with his former side Proline FC expired , and the Jaguars are keen on getting him to bolster their attack, Dove All Star FC are close to completing the signing of former Onduparaka FC striker Alfred Leku.
The attacker’s contract with the Academicians expired, and the player jumped on the chance to play for the Jaguars who play in the FUFA BIG league the second tier of Uganda leagues. “The deal has been reached by the player agent and the club”, a source close to the club told Dribbler Sport on Friday.
Leku is a good player who can add more fire power upfront since last season we struggled in front of goal in the first half of last season though we brought in Samson Caesar Okhuti to boost our attack so with Leku we are sorted upfront now.
The striker previously played for various clubs including Vipers SC, Express FC, Onduparaka FC, Proline FC and professional stint in Botswana with Jwaneng Galaxy and loan spell at Extension Gunners
Leku will become the third signing for the Jaguars who have already acquired the service of Anguzu Francis and Andama Sabir.
