The 22-year-old left Mbarara City Football Club following the expiry of his contract and he has now been unveiled by the Kassasiros.
Kampala City Council Authority Football Club have officially announced the signing of Brian Aheebwa from Mbarara City Football Club.
In a statement released by the club on Sunday night, Aheebwa has penned a three-year employment deal.
The announcement was Confirmed on Sunday night durin the club’s Weekly KCCA TV show on Sanyuka TV.
“We have brought him to score goals,” a delighted Mike Mutebi said.
“He is going to compete for a place but I am sure that he will start. Selecting my team from a pool of good players will give me a good headache.” he added
“Our average age of players is around 21, they are young and still hungry to win more trophies. Our top scorer last season was Mutyaba (Mike) who I just converted into a forward, but Aheebwa is a natural striker and I am sure that he will do it.” he continues.
He becomes the sixth signing of Kassasiros after Ashraf Mugume, Charles Lwanga,Stephen Mazengo, Denis Iguma and Bright Anukani joined the club in the last few weeks.
Aheebwa had a splendid 2019/20 season in the Startimes Uganda Premier League scoring a total of 8 goals for his side Mbarara City and indeed he’s been the jack of all trades, scoring 3 goals in the Stanbic Uganda Cup and 3 in the Pilsner Super 8.
He left Mbarara City Fc as the leading goalscorer during his four-year sta with 39 goals.
