Arua Hill Complex Stadium Update: One Year In Construction Of The record 20bn Stadium.

A year after its groundbreaking Arua Hill Complex stadium is steadily taking shape and remains on time, on budget and on course to be a dazzling soccer-first venue.

The multi-purpose sports complex with 20000 seater capacity will be been owned by Eng Joel Ayita of Joadah Consultant limited for 49-years before handing over the stadium to Arua City council.

The ambitious project which is constructed in 9.7 acre piece of land by Joadah Consultant Ltd is set to be completed in December 2020 and will be the biggest Sports facility in West Nile region with 20000 seaters once completion.

Eng Joel Ayita who is the main brain behind the construction of the stadium on his personal Facebook page believes the living stadium will bring a better look to the newly created city and will boost business for the locals within.

” Living and Breathing, Alive and Kicking. This is exactly the idea behind Arua Hill Stadium.” Ayita’s statement.

” Verry many stadia in Africa are dead. News reports once indicated how our great Nambole Stadium failed to pay electricity and water bills? Very sad. But not unique. Many times planners of these facilities only look at the architectural beauty not the business behind it, as a result a nice beautiful structure is put it place but cannot be managed.” He added

” That’s the problem we are trying to solve in the concept of a Living stadium.
Besides a beautifully designed and built facility, weve created business facilities. These will be the bloodline of the stadium. These facilities will ensure that the structure is 24/7 busy. They will ensure that the facility can be maintained and operational.”

Once completed according to the architectural plan, the facility will comprise football pitch, shopping units, showrooms, restaurants, guest house, banks and parking yard etc.

This stadium will join other facilities as the Mandela National Stadium – Namboole, a 42,000 seater stadium also found in Wakiso District.
