Vipers close out Sentamu deal

Dribbler Sports can reveal that Vipers Sports Club have officially submitted an offer for the services of striker Yunus Sentamu “Manucho who is currently a free agent.

Vipers have been chasing Yusuf Sentamu since last year and now have their best chance of securing the move following a confirmed reports that the striker is know a free-agent

Sentamu is set to reunite with his former Club on a two-year deal after running out of action since leaving KF Tirana in Albania last year.

Venoms are reportedly trying to release some of their players including Tito Okello, Brian Nkuubi, Henry Kitegenyi, Tom Masiko, Farouk Musisi, Ibrahim Kiyemba, Dan Sserunkuma, Steven Mukwala and Duncan Seninde according to a reliable informant.

“Masiko, Mukwala and Okello are out of contract and the club is not ready to renew their stay.” a source close to Venoms confirm to Dribbler Sports .

Yusuf Sentamu ” Manucho” in action for Vipers

The former Vipers forward who was part of the National Team at the 2017 Continental showpiece in Gabon is best remembered for his heroic performances at the 2014 CHAN tournament where he scored three goals for the Uganda Cranes.

He has previously played at AS Vita in Congo, Tunisian outfit CS Sfaxien, Ilves of Finland and Albania first division side KF Tirana. He also featured for Bulemeezi Ssaza team, helping them to the 2013 Masaza Cup triumph.

Uganda Premier League champions Vipers SC have already bolstered their squad ahead of 2020/21 season and CAF championship by capturing the signature of Ibrahim Oriti from Mbarara City and Disan Galiwango who joined from Express FC.
