Former Uganda Cranes head coach Sébastien Desabre’s 10 years of African adventure comes to an end as he is announced the new manager of French Ligue 2 side Chamois Niortais FC the club.
Deserbre native of Valence in France puts pen to paper on a two-year employment contract with one optional season.
“ It’s official, Chamois Niortais FC is holding its new coach and it is Sébastien DESABRE .” Reads club’s statement.
The 43-year old tactician led Uganda cranes to 2019 AFCON last 16 level before being knocked out by Senegal of Sadio Mané.
He previously coached at Pyramids FC of Egypt, Esperance de Tunis of Tunisia, Coton Sport Garoua of Cameroon and recently Wydad Casablanca of Morocco.
Free since the end of February this year, Sébastien Desabre will therefore discover the benches of Ligue 2 BKT by joining Chamois Niortais FC for two seasons plus one optional.
