URA FC to host second round games at Arena of visions stadium in Bombo

StarTimes Uganda Premier League outfit URA FC have confirmed the Arena of Visions in Bombo as the venue to host all their home matches.

The tax collectors used Mandela national stadium, Namboole as their home ground in the first round hosting 8 out of 15 games at Nambole before temporary shifting to Bombo bBarracks Grounds towards the final bend of round one as the stadium was under maintenance.

The change of venue is due to the non-avoidable circumstances from Mandela National Stadium that hosts various activities and in one way or the other affects URA FC planning as seen in the last stages of the first round where URA FC had to host its last three games at Bombo Military Barracks ground.” Read the official club statement.

URA FC become the second team that will host their second round home games at the Ndejje University FC play grounds after record champions SC Villa also confirmed the venue as their home venue ahead of the second round from Namboole.

URA FC will get their UPL second round underway against SC Villa January 7 , 2020, the first of their seven home games in the second round.
